Israeli forces set up military checkpoint east of Bethlehem

Israeli occupation forces established a military checkpoint at the entrance to Bayt Ta'mar bridge east of Bethlehem on Friday, Shehab Wire reported. The checkpoint was placed at a location that controls access to surrounding Palestinian communities.
Local sources confirmed that the forces sealed off the bridge, which provides the main route to the town of Za'tara. The checkpoint restricted passage through the crossing point on the eastern side of the city.
