Gaza's government spokesman calls for urgent action on humanitarian crisis

Dr. Ismail al-Thawabta, director general of the government media office in Gaza, said the enclave is experiencing a catastrophic and highly sensitive humanitarian phase that demands immediate intervention and exceptional measures to preserve basic services and living conditions, the Shehab Wire reported. He stressed the critical need for action as the situation continues to deteriorate across the territory.
Al-Thawabta called on the "National Committee for Managing Gaza" to move beyond a state of waiting and take decisive steps to address the deepening humanitarian emergency. He underscored that without swift action, the humanitarian and service conditions facing Gaza's civilian population will worsen further.
